UNA NOCHE EN LA GLORIA is an ambitious economic development strategy converging visual art, fashion, and the performance art world.  2017 marks the ninth of ten annual expositions planned.  Volunteer organized by the creative affiliates of the Contemporary Art and Literature Organization (CALO) and sponsored by the Avenida Guadalupe Association, “Una Noche en La Gloria” is cultural evolution harnessed to promote San Antonio’s underserved creative micro-entrepreneurs.  “Una Noche en La Gloria” is a far reaching forum for generational and disciplinary exchange that enables aspiring young artists to participate alongside accomplished professionals bridging the generation gap and pro-actively passing down values that have economically sustained local artists for generations.  CALO and our sponsors seek to help creative entrepreneurs sustain the connection between artists and the City.  We believe that together we can strengthen the bridge between our artists, our citizens, and our cultural tourism industry, encouraging continued self-sufficiency while simultaneously investing in a healthy and prosperous creative economy that strengthens all of San Antonio.

Fluent Influence : The All White Affair | Day Party Edition Special Event, was founded by Lamarcus and Ebony of Different World Images.

Accompanied by Hutson Percussion and Sponsored by Smoke Restaurant, this event will host a vast array of Poets, Artists, Musicians, and Creatives alike, providing a platform to release and ultimately play a vital role in the community. Every creative present is expected to bring some of the city's most influential and positive vibes.

Artists showcasing in this event have been compared to creatives such as Erykah Badu, Common, Andre 3000, Lauryn Hill, and Anthony Hamilton to name only a few. Special Featured Artist Bee Honey and her in demand band known around the world as the AfroKnotts, will also grace the platform with a live opening performance and throughout the event.
